Who We Are

Large group of diverse people gathered in a park with trees and city buildings in the background, smiling and posing for a group photo. Many are wearing casual clothing and some are in sportswear.

We’re a growing community of basketball lovers. Students, Professionals, and Residents who gather at the Giardini Graziella Fava basketball court, in the heart of Bologna.

Our community promotes activities that blend Sport, Culture, and Service to nourish social welfare and well-being. Our work supports the well‑being of our city, neighbourhood and visitors.

One is holding a basketball and wearing sunglasses and a sleeveless jersey; the other is wearing sunglasses, a hat, and a graphic T-shirt. In the background, a dog on a leash is near the court, and a few people are playing basketball.

Our Origins, identity, and experiences span multiple backgrounds, with core members coming from different neighbourhoods in Bologna, diverse ethnicities and cultures beyond Italy, and varied life stories—to find both common ground and each other on the basketball court in Bologna.

Three men stand by a colorful graffiti mural with basketball-themed illustrations and the words 'Regaz Dei Fava.' One man is holding a basketball and leaning against the wall, while the others are standing and talking in front of the mural.

What started as a local hangout has become a movement grounded in our shared belief in Basketball, community, and Service.
